peter schulz

studied theatre, German and musicology at the University of Mainz, assisted Michael Laub and Jan Fabre at the Theater Am Turm in Frankfurt from 1995 to 1997 and later with Sasha Waltz in Berlin. From 1997 to 2004 he directed the Mainz university stage Theater Im P1 and was a guest at various festivals with his first performance productions.
Since 2000 he works togehter with Nic Schmitt. As Team für zeitgenössische Theaterformen they're realising under the label Schmitt & Schulz numerous performance projects and guest appearances.
In 2007, together with Nic Schmitt, he founded his own venue pad (performance art depot), which he has since been leading artistically, curatorially and organisationally together with Nic Schmitt.
